Around july of this year I felt that I wanted a medium to write about my thoughts and feelings of things that happen. Not just in our relationship and life. For that I can always use our main website. I mean things in general. Things I don't think need to be on our main website. I see our main website as a way of talking about relationships, trust, realisme and so on. I wanted a place where I could write as the other Ron :).

We have three domains:
familie smits
This domain has always been meant to be some kind of placeholder, more for family and friends to see pictures. Most of our family and friends live too far away to just come over. This website is perfect for this. There are some pictures of our kids, cats and house.

main site
this is our main site where we talk about our relationship and stuff like that. Especially kitten writes a lot there, she definitly is the writer in this household.

This domain has always been kind of a mess. Containing stuff I do with linux, with java mainly programming in general. Some people might actually like that I don't. I wanted something of a medium where I could combine all that, have a decent look and feel that was easy to maintain, and where it would be easy to just add stuff. Enter a blog.

This is actually the second blog I have set up. The first one was roller another java based blog. It was way too big for just one person. So I started to use this one Pebble. Nice and simple.

Gerard's death triggered a lot of writing here. And it helped me a lot dealing with his death. You can expect more about that in the future. His life and his death will always be a part of me. I so did not have the time or the inclination to learn how pebble works.
